As the main contractor on this project, we provided a new reception area with DDA compliant access, alongside the installation of new entrance gates, intercoms, and doors. Throughout this project we overcame many logistical challenges that come with a live school environment, for instance access to the school for students and staff had to be temporarily rerouted around the site adhering to health and safety regulations, due to the location of our works. We communicated weekly with the school to understand their immediate needs and requirements, and ensured all deliveries were scheduled for quiet times (outside of drop off & pick up). Throughout the project, we fostered a strong relationship with this client, so much so we went on and were pleased to be contracted for further works for their growing school.
